A Foggy Day at the Beach

Leica M3, Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM, Arista Premium 400, 1/1000 @ f/11

I love the way that B&W film renders fog!  A few weeks ago, I spent a foggy day photographing at the beach.  I was originally undecided how these would turn out, but I'm quite happy that I took these, as the opening shot is one of my favourites from the year so far!

Thank you Verenna! Yes, these were taken at Sauble Beach. Pelee Island is a wonderful place to visit, I'm hoping to make it back again soon!

i love the fog pictures Brendan! Are these from Sauble Beach? Love the Boreal Chicadee! We were very interested in your pictures of Pelee Island, we are going to Pellee in June our first visit!

Hi Brendan, My favourite two pictures are the guy walking onto the beach from clarity into the fog. Something mysterious about that. Also, in the picture with the angle iron and the ropes, there is some mystery in that. I guess mystery and fog go together.
