The First M3 Photos

I got the first roll from my M3 back from the lab earlier this week, and I spent most of yesterday scanning and editing the results.  I'm really happy with the photos!  I love the contrasty and grainy look that Tri-X gives, and I'm impressed with the Canon 50/1.4 LTM lens as well.  Considering it's around 50 years old, it is surprisingly sharp wide-open, and it looks great stopped down as well.  Out of 36 shots, I'm happy with 31 of the photos, giving me an 86% keeper rate, which is much higher than my usual 10% with digital.  I will be splitting the roll up over two posts, with the second coming in a few days!
